well...2 scenes for which strike should be punished for imo, so take this as official complaint-

lap 1: kryhmen almost blocked me
lap 1: szymeks little push and me failing in handling it, resulted into me going into some sort of snakeline: he passed me and let me pass next curve.
lap 1: afraid of being pushed i brake early and go closer to inside in end of long straight, arsen gets close, i close the door, resulting into he pushing me from behind, my car going to the side and he passed me - and let me repass a curve later (i wonder though if that was purpose and if he realized that his overtake wasnt really fair enough). strike sneaked through that chaos.
lap 2: already 2.2sec behind wokinger, 1% more damage, 1 position lost (now 5th)
lap 3: probably illegal or most closest legal ever possible :D move to right side by strike in end of start straight. he first defends to the left and in the end he goes back to the right, right in front of me. the plan was actually to make him have the disadvantage of going into curve with less of a radius.
lap 3: right after 1st curve i try to overtake strike on the outside then, but instead of driving the 2nd corner close to the kerbs, he kinda blocks me, keeping me a bit too far outside, imo. in that situation i coulda maybe gone side to side vs him through next curves, letting each other space.
lap 3: midend of lap: i pass strike, he then drives into my side, giving me a little push, i failed to go deep into brakes again in order to avoid me going deep offroad into sand. already ~4% more damage than average now. lost 2 positions there, strike didnt wait to let me pass again - and i lost 2.1 sec in that lap compared to wokinger -.-
lap 4: end of lap 4: both me and strike side to side, trying to close the 1 carlength gap between us, getting an advantage for next curve and both going back again. i think i couldnt have blamed strike accidently blocking me there, but like a miracle that scene seemed to be without a touch.
lap 4: mid end of lap: i pass trike, he then drives into my side, giving me a little push, i failed to go deep into brakes again in order to avoid me going deep offroad into sand. already ~8% more damage than average now. lost 2 positions there, strike didnt wait to let me pass again - and i lost 2.7 sec in that lap compared to wokinger -.-

hmm..copy paste for the win, right?
2x passing strike in the same curve
2x strike beefing me offroad the same way
2x i fail hitting brakes early enough (probably i didnt expect him to beef me twice like that)
2x strike not letting pass
2x losing 2 positions
2x losing 2sec+ to wokinger
2x getting some damage
-.-
WTF? :P

lap 4: end of lap: at least popo billardpushs me against arsens back, probably causing into arsen making a mistake, so i got that position back quickly. still: 7.3 sec behind wokinger, 6th place -.-

lap 7: end of lap: getting close to strike: haha, as if id waste another lap behind him: so..early pit stop here we go!
lap 9: szymek coming out of pits, keeping very fair in pitlane, cruical (trademake by shyguy :P) for him to keep in front of me there
lap 10: early in lap: kryhmen coming out of pits, slightly driving at edge of pitlane, losing position to szymek and then driving very fair side to side vs me through chicane. respect to that one.

lap 17: coming closer to szymek, i pit 1 lap earlier than planned. again a solid stop. the usual 1 bumper more than a perfect stop in order to get the position right in order to not fail totally - like szymek and lanz semi-did with their 1-2 times messing up very important 1-1.5 seconds. lol though, i got an additional weird bumper leaving the pits too far at the right side.

lap +-26: lanz, being up to 0.3sec faster per lap with his 3 laps better tyres lost a deciding second, so my relative close lead to him would seem to be enough to rescue the somewhat surprising 2nd place over the finishline.

last lap: wow, check dores successful kamikaze overtake vs arsen :D resulting into an instant (likely rage-) quit! well done, dore. only watched last stint of that fight though, yet.

edit:
anyway, grats to wokinger. great qualilap (and i already thought my .330 pb in q1 was good - even it wasnt optimal)
in pracitce i did a racetotaltime of 25:45.x with 32 laps, being only ~2.1 sec off pace due to little mistakes.
so..coulda been a tight match maybe, without strike sending me offroad in mid end of lap 2...i woulda been in the lead in stint 3, having a tough time to defend.

already for 7 laps at the start finish line I let you go I lost the least time. I turned left and I had to turn slightly to the right so as not to hit or not to fly off to a place on the right side was in abundance. In total, no longer argue that this is far from my mind.[/b]

Thanks! I had been stuck behind him pretty much since the first pit stop. I had 2 or 3 good overtaking opportunities where either I flubbed it or he defended tough and I just couldn't get around him even though I was faster (and it kept forcing me into mistakes). I wasn't gonna let him beat me though :D

whatever that means, i did not really get it. if you mean the 1st curve of lap 3, then: it was likely still legal, but only because you more or less luckily did not collide with me.

@all:
about (il-)legal defending

i made some screenshots.. (note, next curve will be a left 180 turn)
- the white car is slightly faster than the red car (but both of their topspeed is the same)
- the red car is 0-1 pixel in front of the white
- it won't collide the white when driving left (because it is actually still a few pixel in front, due to the game car/car collision detection)
- so, risk to block the car behind is excluded in this example when driving left
- and to make it easy, we exclude the possibility of blocking the car as well, when the red car would drive back to the right side, in front of the white car (though

i doubt strike knew for 100% when driving to the right side vs me in that scene in 1st curve of lap 3)

2: white car tried to drive far enough to force the red car driving next curve wide outside in order to not block the white car, but failed.

3: white car is trying to make the red car "steer left in order to force the white car into a very thin turning radius in case he wants to overtake in the inside".

4: the red car closes the gap without being in front the white car yet.

4c: so basicly he did not defend yet and would be still allowed to drive back to the right side without having lost his 1 allowed "defending direction" for this straight.

5: the red car now drove slightly in front of the white car, so if it would brake, these 2 cars would collide. or maybe the slighty faster white car will get legally blocked after 0.x more seconds. anyway, the red car has now used his 1 allowed "defending direction", no matter if it blocks the white car or not.

5c: once the red car has used the 1 allowed "defending direction" in a straight: it may not defend to the opposite direction anymore ("crossing line a 2nd time"). if the red car would steer only 1 pixel to the right side while in front of the white car or resulting into being in front of the white car, it would be a 2nd crossing.
now here a question: does the 2nd crossing already count as illegal 2nd defending steer? if not: is it allowed to cross a 2nd time as long as you are not slower than the car behind? if yes...and you cross lines a 2nd time as long as you are not slower - what if the car behind accelerates (for example after getting blocked) to topspeed on a long straight and comes closer to your highly damaged slow car? when it now drives into you, you basicly did an illegal 2nd defence in that long straight, right? the real question now is: if the car behind tries to overtake left now, are you allowed to block him a 2nd time? in my opinion: yes, if you block him at a point more to the left side than your first block. but everything more to the right side is a 2nd illegal block.

7: the white car now decides to get a good position for the next curve and try to overtake the red car by forcing it to drive a low turning radius in next curve with a hard to handle slow speed without illegaly driving in front of the wide car.

7c: now that the white car has been driven far to the right side, the red car is able to close the gap a little bit, as long as it does not drive in front of the white car again. it is legal, because there is no 2nd crossing of the white cars' line. note though, the cars' line is not defined by the cars' current heading direction. it is defined by the cars front position and the vector of the road direction. else the white car in screenshot 7 or 7c could slightly steer to the left side, heading slightly diagonal (so: not perfectly in road direction), making the car in front actually crossing the white cars "fly line" lol :P.
there is at least one more edgy point in the rules, but im not going to mention it now...

note:
if, when the red car drove to the left side in front of the white car without being slower than the white car, it wouldnt have been a defending steer. so if both cars would have already reached their topspeed, which would have been exactly the same for example, then the red car would be legally be able to steer back to the right side in front of the white car, unless it would result into blocking it (due to losing at least 1 pixel by driving a diagonal line).
but thats not what happened with strike and me when he turned left. there i was still slightly faster.
but now the following is in my opinion allowed: if the red car did not block the white car when defending left, it is allowed to drive to the right side in front of the white car as long as the red car is at least as fast as the white car and it would not result into a collision, because that would be likely an illegal blocking (and then also an illegal 2nd defending steer) or an unfair sidepush.
anyway, in the scene with strike (red car) vs me (white car), he was only very slightly in front of me and i might have been still very slightly faster than him, when he steered back to the right side. so, in my opinion it is a very close illegal steer by strike and if not, i doubt he was a 100% sure he would not collide with me.
so, in case we would have collided there, resulting into me pushing him offroad, it would have been basicly his fault and i wouldnt have needed to let him pass.

8: whatsoever, the red car closes legally the gap here (in my opinion).
interesting would be to know if it would be the red cars fault, if both cars drive into each other at the same time (the red car steers right, the white one steers left), resulting into the red car "defending" a 2nd time.
a similar scene happened when strike and me were next to each other - he slightly in front. both of us steered at the same time by a sudden. he was at the right side, steering left, i was left, steering right. if he would have blocked me there, while he was less than 1 car lengths in front of me, it would have been an illegal block. like a miracle, our cars overlapped but the game did not detect a collision.
i said to him i could not have blamed him in that case for that illegal block. it would be interesting to know if it would still count as illegal block though or if this is an exception without any punishment.

8c: see note in 7c.

9: the red car now crossed the white cars line a 2nd time, but neither blocked it when crossing it the first time, neither in 2nd.
when crossing it the 2nd time, it was either still very slightly slower than the car behind or as fast.
either way: if the white car is faster and the 2 cars collide here, the red car played against the rules and in my opinion should let the white car pass as soon as possible with preferrably keeping the white car on the ideal line.

i made some statistics, since i was curious about some records concerning for example "wins in a row" in f1sl.

so, here some stats:

most wins in a row: (note: i did not count it as "in a row" if you win a race, then dont drive 1-x races, and then win your comeback race...that would need some extrawork im too lazy for now..)
